CINEKYD/Media Summer Features:
The Classic Collection ... on DVD

Almost four decades have passed since the first group of local school kids decided to
make a movie during their 1969 summer vacation. Their seminal efforts continued as the
cornerstone of the Cinekyd broadcast arts training program for 30 years, from its inception
in 1976 until its closing in 2005.

For graduates, alumni, family and friends - here is the rare opportunity to 'return to
those days of yesteryear.'

Each of the original student-produced summer features has been lovingly restored by
Cinekyd alumni and friends,  and remastered into DVD format.  Now,  everyone who was a
part of the Cinekyd/Media summer experience can relive those special adventures.

From the fields of Gettysburg,  to the hills of Ternsmere.  From
The Companion  to
Phantomos.   From Whiplash  to Sundown.   From The Astrekynd  to Uncle Charlie.

Plus, the rarest gems of all: behind-the-scenes footage originally filmed in either
8mm or 1/2" videotape or beta/VHS cassette
has been located and miraculously
restored with the appropriate student feature. (Our web gallery also includes photos
and slides from those vintage productions, created many years ago.)

Every original, every sequel, every 'new version' will be on DVD for only $24.95 for
single disc titles and $34.95 for dual-disc sets with free shipping and handling.

Watch our website as we list not only the titles, but a description of each story (just in
case you forgot) and a roll call of the student producers.  Plus, our gallery includes
snapshots from those days to jar your memory.  And, a list of the treasured 'behind the
scenes' films also shot during those lazy, hazy days of summers past.
